Retirement Accommodation
We have accommodation options to suit both individuals and married couples, and as an old country house, each bedroom has its own unique appearance and character. All rooms come with a bed and basic furnishings; however, residents are encouraged to bring any of their own belongings, decorations and furniture that they wish to personalise their room.

Life at Old Alresford Cottage Retirement Home
We do everything we can to ensure that no two days are the same at Old Alresford Cottage and have a dedicated activities team who coordinate activities and events throughout the year. These can range from day trips out, exercise sessions, pub games, parties, baking, crafts, magic and more. Whilst there is lots on offer, residents can feel free to engage as much (or as little) as they wish!
At Old Alresford Cottage, we understand the importance of a good home-cooked meal. We have an excellent resident chef who creates delicious meals every day using only the freshest ingredients. Our team are more than happy to cater for all allergy and dietary requirements and frequently offer alternative meal options for residents to choose from.
Located within four acres of outstanding natural beauty, our grounds are the pride and joy of our retirement home. Our landscaped gardens are excellently maintained and provide a great place for residents and visitors to traverse and catch up on a warm summer’s day.
In addition to our grounds, our retirement home has three dining rooms and lounges for residents to relax and enjoy, and we also arrange a visiting hairdresser and chiropody service.
