About Us
Old Alresford Cottage is a residential care home providing care and support for older people in need of individual care and attention. Located in a fine country house set in four acres of landscaped gardens situated on the outskirts of the beautiful Georgian town of Alresford in Winchester, Hampshire.
The Home has a range of accommodation available including single and double rooms with several having en-suite facilities. Old Alresford Cottage is dedicated to providing the best residential care for their residents and are proud of the fully trained and experienced staff. Together with the long term care being offered, short term/respite care can also be provided when a shorter period of care is required.
Old Alresford Cottage welcomes visitors and potential residents to the home at any time to sample the atmosphere first hand; this can be a visit for a cup of tea, a meal or even an overnight stay.

For many care homes, writing comprehensive care plans, keeping them up to date, and communicated with residents' families can be a time-consuming task. As it is absolutely essential to the smooth running of the home, so we looked to technology to alleviate this pressure. To continue to provide the high level of care whilst ensuring all administration and care planning is kept up to date.
Person Centred Software has been implemented in the home. A fantastic electronic care management system to alleviate pressure on care staff. Documenting care plans quickly and efficiently, whilst ensuring all residents are safe, comfortable and happy.
