We offer a range of accommodation options, including single and double rooms, many of which are en-suite, to allow residents to enjoy independent living with the help and support of our compassionate staff. With views of the beautiful gardens and countryside, each bedroom at Old Alresford Cottage is both unique and bursting with character while stylishly and neutrally decorated to allow you to make the space your own. We also encourage you to bring your own personal belongings and furniture with you when you move in to really make your new room feel just like home.
Enjoy a range of activities and entertainment
Our Activities Coordinator is never short of ideas for keeping our residents active, stimulated and challenged, because many of the ideas come from the residents themselves! No two days are the same here at Old Alresford Cottage, you may take part in armchair exercises and bingo one day and find yourself singing karaoke, petting a guinea pig or planting flowers in the beautiful landscapes gardens the next.
Providing delicious and nutritious meals
Mealtimes are an important part of the day here, offering a chance to socialise over a delicious, home cooked meal that has been freshly prepared by our in-house chef. Like our activities, meals at Old Alresford Cottage change regularly with a different menu each week, ensuring we provide you with healthy, nutritional (and tasty) food, from glazed roast gammon with carrots and parsnips and strawberry gateaux to fish pie with mixed vegetables and rhubarb crumble drizzled in custard.
Enabling you to continue your routines
As Old Alresford Cottage is our residents’ new home, we always encourage you to continue living life just as you did before. So, you are free to invite friends and family over to visit whenever you feel like it and entertain them in your room, in the social areas or even outside in our wonderful garden. We are here to help you live life exactly as you wish and are on hand to help make that a little easier, from arranging optician appointments, helping manage medicine and providing 24-hour care.
