A visit from Bertie the PAT Dog!

We had a very friendly visitor at Old Alresford Cottage recently!

The gorgeous Bertie came in to see us with a volunteer from the Pets As Therapy team.

Pets As Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983 and they provide an animal visiting service in hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues all across the UK.

Community based Animal Assisted Therapy is a fantastic way for us to bring joy, comfort and companionship to our residents' lives and allow them to touch and stroke a friendly animal.
